Saturday March 13th Work Day Volunteers Needed

In two weeks if anyone is interested I would like to organize a work day at Gulches. We need fence repair around the parking lot, Tree removal from some trails, Campground spruce up and some general trail repair. The pay is lousy but the hours are long. There will be free lunch and a pass for another day. Please let me know if you can come and help. Contact here on the forum or at 864 449 5698. A couple Chain saws would be a big help. I need one or two folks on Friday (around noon)to get ready for Saturday. As always I appreciate your support.

As long as work doesn't pick up I'm taking Friday off and I can come up to help. What kind of work do you need on Friday and what do I need to bring?

Well at this time the weather man is working against me. We may have to move this to next weekend the 19th and 20th. But if it isn't too wet Friday I just need a body to help get ready for Saturday.
Let's see what the weather brings if too wet not much can be done.

As to the work days of this Friday and Saturday I am canceling them and moving it to the weekend of Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th. Thank you to all who have said they would volunteer. The weather is just too unstable and who wants to cut trees in the rain.

I'm on call for work this weekend, so do any of you that live close to the park have wireless internet that I could 'borrow' if I get called? I usually don't get called over the weekend, but if I do I need to be able to be connected and working in about 30 minutes. I'll bring my laptop and park in your yard if I need to.

I live with in 15 to 20 min from the park. and being the computer geek that i am you can use my wireless and also if you drive into town the square also has free wifi.
