Just a reminder this weekend Saturday we are holding our 4th Annual Powder Puff  4×4 Challenge and Charity Event. We are raising donations to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Our lady drivers have been doing a great job of raising money for this event. We really need to support them as they drive the same courses as the guys.

Again gulches is going to hold there big raffle with several prizes a $2.00 ticket can win. Included in the mix is a Winch Accessory Kit from Warn Industries, a host of neat stuff from 4wheel Parts of Charlotte and the grand prize of a set of tires from BF Goodrich your choice of All terrain, mud terrain or KM2’s, any size up to 35″.  The raffle is at 3:00pm and you must be there to win.

Also we are going to have the Rent a Rig fund raiser again. Rent a rig with Dana 60’s and 40 inch tires to try your hand at rock crawling.

The weather as of now looks like it will be perfect for this event.

I know its tough out there right now with this down turned economy, but it’s times like this when facilities like the Shriners Hospitals really need our help.  Please come out and support this wonderful cause. Just $2.00 could brighten your day too.
Tell your friends and bring them out.
thank you all so much for your continued support

Looks like we should be okay as far as rain is concerned for both Saturday and Sunday.  This afternoon (Friday)we got a good hit of rain which knocked down the dust but made no slop. So we should be in fine shape for the weekend.  All size and builds should be fine on the trails.

The forum says we have a couple of groups coming in Saturday and Sunday.  We also have a new red (easy) trail A1A and a new roll-over line in Radical Ravine for you bigger built rigs.

Yep it is another night ride this Saturday and if you have not been to one of these you are missing a whole different look to off roading. Take advantage of this night ride as the weather looks wonderful and the trails are in great shape. All 4×4 vehicles of all sizes and shapes will be able to run the park as all easy trails are in good shape.  Mud -oh yeah we got mud but only where mud should be.  Camp if you don’t want to drive home at midnight. It still cools down nicely this time of year. Night rides are only weather permitting – rain and we close. There are only four more night rides this year. If the weather does not co-operate then we may not have that many. So come on out. We are open from 10:00 am until midnight with the same price as any Saturday. Come early and ride late or come late and ride even later.
